The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting one or multiple pre-clinical/clinical programs. The ideal candidate will be an innovative, highly motivated, experienced project manager with excellent communication and organizational skills. Note: exact title commensurate with experience.
Essential Duties and responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members and senior management to develop, maintain and track cross-functional program plans/timelines including key commitments, deliverables, and resources to ensure projects are aligned with goals and moving efficiently
- Leads and facilitates team discussions, capturing, documenting and communicating actions and decisions to ensure clear understanding and alignment across the team
- Coordinate and participate in project team meetings, development of meeting agendas, program timelines and budgets, streamlined and efficient meeting management, distribution of meeting summaries, and efficient follow up of all relevant action items
- Assist in execution of operational tasks when needed to ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration and adherence to timelines
Requirements
Experience and education requirements:
- Degree in a pharmaceutical-related field preferred (biology, chemistry, biochemistry, etc.)
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
- In depth knowledge of the drug development process with demonstrated cross-functional project management or project leadership
- Proficient in MS Office Suite; with specific experience in Microsoft Project

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in San Diego, CA is $135,000-160,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.
